brief history of Sunday's Story The first account was published on Sunday, September 22, 2013 under the title " El Beso de Sonja" on Twitter. It was a love story of a rebellious young woman in the Canton of St. Gallen, on the border between Switzerland and Austria. Since that day we have published more than 60 stories in different media. The times in The Sunday Story Initially the stories were biographical. Its author narrated personal anecdotes through a literary style in which he always sought to give a touch of humor along with some kind of criticism of society. Criticism does not always imply a negative assessment. For this reason, the narrative proposal of El Relato del Domingo has been to offer a poetic look at contemporary reality. From the ninth story and almost without exception, the stories have been completely fictional, with characters that do not exist in real life, even though many are inspired by real people, problems and situations. The narrative style that predominates in El Relato del Domingo is neo-realistic. Likewise, hyper-reality and transmedia narrative have been incorporated, since, to tell some of the stories, different media have been connected, according to their communicative characteristics. To date, in 2021, more than sixty (60) stories have been published and some of them are part of the pre-selection for the book that we will publish soon. - Crónica y periodismo literario | ElRelato del Domingo
Taller práctico de Crónica literaria en El Relato del Domingo con Valentina Coccia, literata y magíster en historia de la U de los Andes. Teacher: Valentina Coccia Bluestocking Master in History scenic artist Author of: "Goodbye to Quino" among other opinion texts in El Espectador The look and the voice The Argentine writer and journalist Tomás Eloy Martínez once said that "When we read that there were 100,000 victims in a tsunami in Bangladesh, the data amazes us but does not move us." This is the philosophy of many media, which are limited to reporting, but with their language they fail to emotionally involve people in the facts, which is the true work of journalism. This shows us that to write a good story we do not need to be professional journalists or work in a recognized medium. We just have to have a sharp eye to see the background of the facts and work in a language that can convey the essence of the story we want to tell. In this course we will work on these two fundamental skills of the most renowned chroniclers: the look that recognizes the background of the story and the voice that reaches the hearts of the readers. Chronicle and literary journalism workshop Methodology Reading: The reading of some representative texts of literary journalism will be facilitated to open a discussion about their styles, the themes they propose, the facts they narrate and what they can contribute of value to each student who takes the course in their own writing process. Interactive writing exercise: Each session will propose a writing exercise that involves issues of journalistic work. It seeks to train the gaze by involving the student in reality so that they find what to write about and help them find the right tone to tell their story. General objectives: observe the context, observe the character and the journalist who observes himself and how the voice changes in all those cases. Aprende a impactar con textos literarios de distintas características como cuento, relato, novela, poema. workshop Creative writing Teacher: Felipe Jiménez @Felipepoet Professional in Literary Studies Master in Communication Editor , copywriter and proofreader. Literary creation supposes the skill of some writing techniques in which it is clear that the form is not the only important thing and it is not enough to respect the grammatical rules or not make spelling mistakes for the text to be considered literary.
EPOJÉ International Film and Literature Club The Epoché is a state of consciousness in which judgment is suspended. In Greece, Pyrrho of Elis (ca 265 ca 275 BC) defended the Epoché as a way of encompassing reality through neither affirming nor denying anything. This Reading Club starts from this premise to cover literary texts without the pretense of establishing some kind of formal or academic literary criticism. We will value reading as an exercise of thought, of understanding between us. We will promote known and unrecognized authors. We share information about literary contests, bibliographic novelties, reading and writing techniques and cultural events. We open the space for readers and authors who share a love of reading. encounters Virtual: We meet every fifteen (15) days and discuss our impressions on previously agreed upon readings. Face-to-face: We meet at least once a month and discuss progress on the readings. We also exchange books, reading support material, bookmarks, posters, tickets to events.
